Control Unit
— Reliable Command Transfer and Offline Data Protection
The control unit acts as the bridge between the computer and Neware battery testers. Test commands are created and sent from the BTS software on the computer, received by the control unit, and then distributed to all testers connected under the same system.
During testing, the control unit continuously manages command transfer, test execution, data collection, and basic calculation of key test results such as time, capacity, and energy. It also supports real-time protection logic, including voltage limits, current limits, step judgment, cutoff judgment, and advanced protection conditions.
With its built-in 1GB data buffer, the control unit can continue operating even if the computer is accidentally shut down or disconnected. It keeps sending commands to the connected testers, receives test data, and temporarily stores the data inside the control unit. Once the computer is reconnected, the stored data will be automatically uploaded and backed up to the computer, helping prevent test interruption and data loss.
Applications
Centralized Tester Control
Offline Test Continuity
Temporary Data Storage (1GB)
Automatic Data Backup

Auxiliary Units
— Synchronized Voltage and Temperature Acquisition
Auxiliary units expand Neware battery testers with additional voltage and temperature measurement channels. They are designed to work together with the main charge and discharge channels, allowing users to monitor extra cell-level signals during battery testing.
During operation, auxiliary voltage and temperature data can be bound to the main channel test records. These signals can be used for test cutoff conditions, safety protection, and data analysis, helping users evaluate battery behavior with more complete measurement information.

CAN Communication Box
— CAN/CAN FD and RS485 BMS Integration
The CAN Communication Box enables data communication between Neware battery testing systems and external BMS or communication devices. It supports CAN, CAN FD, and RS485 communication, helping users integrate BMS data into the battery testing workflow.
During testing, the communication box can receive data from the connected BMS or external device and transmit it to the Neware system for monitoring, test judgment, and data analysis. It helps connect battery test channels with real-time BMS information, making it suitable for module and pack-level testing applications.
The device supports web-based configuration, including IP settings, communication mode selection, port settings, and CAN/CAN FD baud rate configuration. Users can select different models according to the required number of CAN and RS485 communication ports.
